Working together with prominent strata management companies Leo has given seminars to strata councils to help them understand changes and reporting issues in this sector. He is a valuable resource.
Leo continues to serve the Not-For-Profit sector by applying the expertise he has developed over the past 25 years in governance, risk management, budgeting, accounting, reporting and auditing. He developed and presents RHN’s Not-For-Profit Board Governance Seminar. He believes the key to success for any Not-For-Profit organization begins with a knowledgeable and effective Board.
Prior to receiving his CGA designation, Leo owned and operated a small construction company. As an owner/operator he found that, at times, he received confusing accounting advice. As a result of his personal experience, Leo dedicated himself to providing clear, concise and valuable advice to his clients. He believes every business venture should be a catalyst for achieving the personal goals and aspirations of the owners. Leveraging his experience as a small business owner and trusted advisor for over 25 years, Leo has the ability to explain financial information and provide innovative solutions to clients in ways that are easily understood.
