RHN CPA shows up at CPABC career events because that is where we meet the next generation of accountants. CareerConnect, campus info sessions, and similar CPABC programs give students and CPA candidates a chance to talk with firms face to face before they commit to a path.

If you are exploring where to complete your practical experience or looking for a co-op placement, these events are a practical place to start.

What to expect when you visit our booth

You will talk with RHN team members who can answer questions about the work we do, the offices we operate from, and what we look for in co-op students and junior hires. Bring a resume if you have one. Even a draft is fine.

We are not there to hand out generic brochures. We want to hear what you are studying, what kind of accounting work interests you, and whether a mid-sized firm fits how you want to build your career.

What RHN looks for in candidates

We hire people who are curious, reliable, and willing to learn. You do not need to have everything figured out on day one. Many of our current CPAs and managers started as co-op students who grew into the role over several years.

Technical foundation matters. So does communication, teamwork, and the ability to follow through when deadlines get tight during tax season or year-end.

Why a mid-sized firm for your CPA path

RHN sits in a sweet spot for many candidates. We are large enough to offer structured CPA support, varied client work, and resources for PEP and the CFE. We are small enough that partners and managers know your name and invest time in your development.

If you are comparing us with larger national firms, see Big Four vs. Mid-Sized Firms: Which Is the Better Choice? for an honest comparison.

How to connect with us outside an event

Check the CPABC events calendar for upcoming career fairs and info sessions. You can also visit our careers page for current openings or contact RHN if you want to introduce yourself directly.

We hire when the right people come along, not only when a booth is set up at a conference hall.
