As the risk of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been increased from low-risk to serious by Canada’s public health officer, RHN’s priority continues to be protecting the health of all Firm members and clients and ensuring we can continue to support our clients’ needs.
This is an evolving situation and we continue to monitor it closely. We are following the recommendations of the local, provincial and federal health authorities.
In our offices, we have incorporated the following steps to keep our space safe for both our Firm members and clients. We continue to disinfect our meeting rooms between meetings, sanitize surfaces, including door handles, reception areas, pin pads, desks and washrooms. The boardroom is also available for meetings that will ensure a distance of 6 feet or more. We encourage you to refrain from coming into the office and use other methods to forward your documentation. We have also reiterated proper handwashing etiquette and Firm members are staying home if they feel unwell or have had contact with a confirmed case. Hand sanitizers and disinfecting wipes are available throughout each location for use by Firm members and clients.
We are also taking some precautionary measures. Many of our staff will be working remotely from home and we will begin a revised schedule for those in the office. All large meetings will be conducted via video conference, teleconference or cancelled.
RHN is able to also provide accounting services remotely. We encourage you to send in your information, we are able to forward a secure email link to upload documents, we have a secure portal for document upload and download, we can meet with clients through video conference or teleconference, or documents can be sent by mail or courier. You will be notified when your file has been completed and we will be forwarding your completed return by mail.
We are committed to the health of all Firm members and clients, so we ask if you are experiencing any symptoms please refrain from coming to our offices and contact us by phone for the best way to ensure your accounting needs are met.
